Tseax Cone erupted approximately 300 years ago and produced one of the youngest lava flows in Canada. The flow is approximately 23 km long
and may be the product of more than one eruptive episode. The flow stands out on either the Hybrid or Satellite maps as an orange-gray area.
The flow formed a dam in the Tseax rive and flooded the valley up stream, creating Lava Lake.
