Pages
on the With
a Geological Twist web
site can be reached by
clicking on buttons like most web sites. On these pages,
however, there are some features that are different from
many web sites. First, most of the photographs on the
site can be clicked to show a caption. These captions
tell you where the photograph was taken and what kind
of feature dominates the photograph.
Second,
the site provides you access to an electronic text, or
e-book. We have found that downloading the electronic
text files to your computer and opening them in Adobe
Acrobat is the most efficient way to read them on the
screen. Those who do not relish the thought of reading
a technical text on a computer screen, and we are among
them, can download the files and print them to paper.
Each part of the text consists of three files: text, figures,
and tables. To get the entire text,
you need to download all three files.
You
can learn how to download the files and set up Adobe
Acrobat to read them on the screen by clicking the Next Button: |
